It used to be quite simple, now, if you are English and marry a Jamaican, the government assume it is an underhanded way to get a Jamaican in the country. As everything is being put in place to restrict Jamaicans from travelling, it will probably mean you going to live in Jamaica.
A friend of mine legitimately fell in love with a Jamaican. Married him, and three yeas later they are not together. His wife completed all the relevant paperwork (being in an excellent job) yet sill he was turned back after arriving at the airport for technicalities.
