The order of the planets are in the following order: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and finally Pluto.
Saturn is most famous for its rings around the planet. The Solar system is a fascinating environment that consists of moons, asteroids, minor planets and even comets. You might be able to see on a clear day a shooting star which is when the star loses all its gas particles and explodes through the air.
The Solar System is made up of all the planets that orbit our Sun. Everything in the Solar System orbits or goes round the Sun which in fact contains around 98% of all the material in the Solar System.
There are a number of theories as to how the Solar System formed and one that has baffled scientists for generations. They are investigating something that technically happened billions and billions of years ago before there were any people around to witness such an incredible event.
They say that our evolution is in some way linked to the Solar System. Hence it is tricky to comprehend where the Solar System came from and how mankind came to fruition without this.
The majority of these scientists feel that the evolution of the Solar System came from a giant cloud of dust and gas. This is what we call the Big Bang Theory.
Further away from the center of this mass where the star was forming, there were smaller clumps of matter and gas that were also collapsing. The star in the center of this eventually blew up and it is claimed this is how the Sun formed, while the smaller clumps of the dust and gas led to becoming to the minor planets, moons, comets, and asteroids.

Starting with the planet closest to the sun and moving further away: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto.
The easy way to remember the order is to remember this sentence: My Very Educated Mother Just Served Us Nine Pickles. The first letter of each word is the same first letter of each planet.

Plus today some scientists believe that Pluto is a moon to yet another planet. I haven't read any more about this, perhaps you can and let me know.

Pluto is not actually a planet its a dwarf planet. But you can remember it as... My Very Elegant Mother Just Served Us Nachos

The order of the planets starts at the sun and moves outwards. It has been observed as Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. The order is best remembered via the famous rhyme 'My Very Easy Method Just Simply Uses Nine Planets'. This rhyme gives you the initial letters of the nine planets of our solar system and that too, in order.

Research now reveals that either Pluto is too small to be a planet or that there are thousands of other small planets the same size as Pluto in space. If that is so, then the order of planets could get longer. We do know that there are hundreds or indeed thousands of planets around other stars. The earth orbits around the sun at about 90 miles per second! Mercury, the first planet is a tiny ball. Similarly, each of the planets is unique and different in appearance and color and components.

Our understanding of space is the result of the various dedicated observations made by a number of dedicated scientists, from as far back as the records go. The work on our understanding of the order of planets and space has been preserved and revised with the help of modern research.
