It depends on from where (or at where) you are applying, the basis upon which you are applying and how those presented factors (presented by you and/or related party if applicable) are considered according to the Swedish laws. I hear stories of it taking anywhere from two weeks (very, very rare) after submitting application to 4-6 months (in special but not so rare circumstances) to 6-10 months (far more common maximum) after submitting application.

Six to Eight Months according to the embassy. If you find out for sure though, please let me know. My finance and I are having some problems.
