Does anyone here set their clocks ahead to gain the illusion that you have more time? My Mother does it, and I've got to say its always drove me mad! thankfully as my age increased, and modern technology too, I always have something on me.

Yeah doesn't really work for me. I've tried it in the past. I just think.. Oh this clock is 6 minutes ahead... I still have 6 more minutes.

alarm-clocks each morning... hate those things

Yeah and then you have to explain to people how your clock is set wrong! it ends in a lot of "conversation confusion" for my Mother and sister.

Yes, I set my alarm clock ahead....but only my alarm, I hate to be late.....I also hate an alarm clock!

Well everyone hates the alarm clock! but I hate not knowing the correct time. I suppose with enough time, you will get used to it and sort of adapt But I wouldnt see the point! mind tricks.

Everyone is different I suppose. My OCD has no rational point and yet I do it.
