Lol :) what ? I don't live in the U.S. But I can't believe flirting is illegal anywhere in North America but I could be wrong ....I'd be in handcuffs almost daily then  ... I had more to say but my filter is on  :) I'm awesome.

It's fine as long as the flirting isn't an invasion of privacy, continued without approval or leans toward stalking.  Intrusive or intimidating flirting isn't acceptable.  Pay attention not to go beyond the other person's comfort level and have fun!

If you should happen to get arrested, do what I do.  When the cop says, "Anything you say can and will be held against you," scream "HUGH JACKMAN!  HUGH JACKMAN!"

There must be a law so the policemen act upon it! There's no law regarding this subject in most part of the U.S as far as i know!

It's not a police department's business to approach this. Maybe people do! Maybe if in society's eyes someone start overreacting or show inappropriate behaviors. They might hear criticizes, tips and suggestions by the people!

Also it can turn into police business if the two parties aren't friendly and someone feel interrupted by the opposite's attitude thus bring this to the officers as offensive behavior as a felony on abusive section.

The basic definition of inocent flirting is not even close to being criminal. I would imagine going to the extreme side you would be violating other laws.

Most have more important things to do than bother with old ridiculous laws . Have a Sheriff's Deputy right down the street from me and we sure don't have that law out here. Must be an East Coast turn of the century law.
