I'm retired and live at home in a ménage-a-trois with Mrs Didge and my laptop.

My condo.  There's no place like home, and I hope I can stay here until the end.

I have about 10 years to go until retirement. I plan on living in my house until I'm pushing daisies, but one never knows for sure what will happen with aging, personal health and being able to handle the upkeep of their house.

I am retired, and live with my wife in our home. We plan to continue until we can no longer keep it up or can no longer prepare meals etc, at which time we will go to an assisted living place. (they prepare your meals, have a nurse on duty, but you have your own suite) Some are real nice with swimming pools etc. Plus you have companionship of the others in the place.

I'm thinking the only logical answer would be "in a house" .. Nursing homes are not for "retirees" they are for those who can not take care of themselves and require assistance. Cruise ships are not for long term .. No one lives on them permanently
