The Comfort Inn, Pirates Bay Indoor Water Park Hotel in Kentucky has five water slides, a water basketball area, a pirate ship with water cannons, rain maker, kiddy pool with a beach entrance and a hot tub encompassed within a rock waterfall.  The pirate ship with water cannons is a huge favorite with the children and for toddlers.

It also has free breakfast with hot waffles Monday through Friday from 06:00 to 09:00. And Saturday and Sunday from 07:00 to 10:00, free wireless high-speed Internet access, free daily newspaper, free local calls and a Guest Market gift shop. In addition to standard amenities, all warm and inviting guest rooms are furnished with 32 in flat screen televisions, refrigerators, microwaves, coffee makers with free coffee, hair dryers, spacious desks, irons with ironing boards and expanded cable television. Select rooms also have sofa sleepers.

There is also the Kentucky Splash Water Park where you will find you'll find an 18,000 sq ft wave pool, a 900 ft long lazy river, kiddy activity pool and three waterslides for your enjoyment. The adjacent family entertainment center also has a miniature golf course, go-kart track, batting cages and video arcade.

Another option is SomerSplash in Somerset, Kentucky. SomerSplash Water Park is home to the largest lazy river in Kentucky. In addition to the endless river, this park has a 20,000 sq ft wave pool, a water play structure with a tipping bucket, 40 ft tall single and double rider tube slides and three 40 ft tall waterslides.

Venture River is Western Kentucky's only water park. Here you'll find a 480,000 gallon Hurricane Wave Pool and an endless Old Man River. For young children, the park has the Pleasure Island Kiddy Pool with a play structure with interactive water features and kids’ castle with slides just for them. Thrill-seekers will find a selection of body and tube slides, including Waloopas, a giant enclosed tube slide that you descend while riding a single or double tube, and Dueling Demon Speed Slides, two body slides that descend seven stories.
