Anything you receive from nigeria is most likely a scam. A majority of scams are based out of Nigeria. I've been contacted by two different women online, ends up they want money for some problem. Goto stop-scammers.com lots of good info there on scams.
Yup - definitely - - - - a lot of them post themselves via a Christian introduction website FUSION101 - - - pretending to be Italians, Americans, posting as Engineers, Architects in projects in Africa - and then asking for money to help while they're waiting for payments from the investments ------ wot a scam!!! LOL
and the funny thing is - - - a few of them have emailed me - and writing the same questions - - and then when I tell them that they are a scam, they still insist on their genuinity - - - one of them however confessed - - - with apologies - saying that that's what they do for a living - and it's purely a survival tool - - - I feel sorry for them, and feel sorry for their victims - - - -but hey, don't play a victim and they will eventually have no business....
And oh, they don't stop - they pass around your number and your email - - - -
I don't even respond - I don't call back - - - - I block them off my email as soon as I see them - - - and oh, they post and send you photo-shopped photos - LOL
and one more thing ---- their English is that bad that you'd know straight away! Ha ha...
I just switched to AT&T wireless. Since then, I've been receiving scam calls from 234 802 277 0642. Looked it up on the net and found it is a Nigerian scam. Boy! I knew they were into sending emails, but I didn't know the evolved to phone call, cell phone calls!!! Crap! Sick of these scams. I wish our phone providers, all of them, would allow for blocking specific numbers without an extra charge. I wish our gov't would do something about these scammers once and for all. I don't feel sorry for people who choose this way of life. We should have a NO TOLERANCE policy! Anyhow, all my numbers are on the DO NOT CALL list and still they got through!!! Thanks for listening. I need to vent - just a little. :)
Just got a number 234-803-572-2842 like this to call for an apartment for rent in Toronto. Must be the scam because I googled it and found similar numbers reporting scams
I was contacted via email by a woman through a dating site that pretended to be an american, actually the pictures are of a very famous model, Wendy Fiore. Thank God for Google image search. That's when I found out this person was stealing Wendy's image including personal details such as things she likes and dislikes. Today she calls and leaves a voice message, when I see the missed call it was from Nigeria. The number is 234 802 3875135.
So be careful if you are approached by this "Doris Taylor" who says lives in Texas and calls from Nigeria and in her emails impersonates Wendy
I received a lot af call from this number 234-806-445 8168...... Calling any hours, am, pm,,,,,I'm tired about this calls! I think is a different language,no English, maybe Arabi or India? Please report to scam.
