I have many, but I think the daftest thing that ever happened was on a trip to Saudi Arabia. I was there to represent my company at the launch of a new newspaper, Al Watan in a town called Abha. Because I was there as a "guest" of (one of the many) crown princes, I was met at Jeddah airport by someone from VIP reception, and whisked through all the normal red tape to the VIP lounge to wait an internal flight. I was sitting in there amongst people in traditional Arabic dress and £3000 suits. I was wearing jeans and a T-shirt that said "Sod your System" in big red letters.

I've only been on an airplane once when I was six. We got a red rental car and went to a fast food place to eat. I must have been thirsty, because I drank a lot of pink lemonade. On the drive we had to pull over, and I had only just opened the door when I threw up.- half in and half out. Gross

That was just one of the times my intolerance to red 40 has made me throw up. Other times include my 9th birthday party and Last year's Christmas eve. Usually if I'm not already under the weather I'll only feel nauseous.

I don't think I've had too many "crazy" experiences in airports... Most of my time ends up being spent waiting in lines for things.

I nearly missed my last flight though, and had to run the whole length of the airport to catch it just in time.

Not fun, but it did get my pulse racing.
