No, I don't drive quite that much, I work for a conveyor company and travel the US doing the electrical portion of the installation. Usually my projects last a month or more, before I hit the road again.

There is something about summer, the bait of the open road and the guarantee of a change of view that makes us need to stack up the car or bike and simply go somewhere. To treat road-trip aches, nicks, and scrapes, pack a plastic bag full of items like anti-bacterial cream, bandages, pain relievers, and motion sickness medicine.

Yep, quite a few long road trips in my day. I never made it to the west coast of the US yet though.

Been on many .. No place I'd rather be .. On my motorcycle. I think my longest one was 10 days, 6000 miles.

I've been on many.

I was 13 and feeling awkward, my family took me on a 3 month tour of the United States. At the time I would have rather been anywhere else but on that road trip. But we made some of the best memories of my life. The United States is a beautiful place to discover and explore.

Me! :) My family and I love to go on road trips. One time we went on a road trip to Victoria, Canada (from Los Angeles) and it was a long one. As long as we stop enough then I'm fine with it.

My husband and I rented an RV a few years ago, loaded up the dogs and took a two week trip. It was a dry run to see if it was something we would like to do after we retired. It is and have started looking at RV's. So there are quite a few trips in our future!
