Is it wrong for businesses to give employees summer breaks?
No, I don't think so, because there are many people who take holidays in Summer, but according to the big factories, the employees can take it on alternative. Me as well, I always took my holidays in Summer.
As I know, there are some kind of businesses their workers can't take it in Summer, as their businesses only work for the tourists like : The restaurants near the beach, the shops only sell in the Summer etc. So it depends on what we work for.
I mean give them something since it isn't more money.
