Yep. I have quarters with the dates of all my kids birthday years. I have them soldered back to back in pairs and keep them on me for good luck charms.

Yes, I have a box that has bills and coins from every country I've ever been in. Have no idea what their value is now and some are no longer in existence but it's not the cash value to me, it's the keepsake value. Plus I have some German and Japanese money from WW2 that was given to me by Uncles.
