Can Guitars Be Brought As Carry-ons In A Airplane?
I beg to differ. I've carried my guitar on-board airlines within the past year. The crew stowed it for me specially. It may depend on which airlines you take, too, though. Mine was American, I think, but it was smaller craft and headed to a smaller airport...one that you walk off the plane onto the tarmac. Check with the airline you plan to take...they'll tell you for sure.
I will be travelling from kentucky to the philippines and will have 2bags(check-in),backpack(hand carry) and an electric guitar in a thin plastic hard case(hand carry). I don't want my guitar to be checked-in because it might get damaged. Is this ok with american airlines and cathay pacific?
