The closest beach to Nashville Tennessee is Fort Walton beach in Florida. This is 437 miles away and you would have to travel through Tennessee, Alabama and Florida to get to the beach.

Florida is said to have some of the most beautiful beaches in the United States but these beaches are a distance from Nashville.

Tennessee is in central America and does not have a coastline. It does, however, have eight states that border it:

  • North Carolina
  • Virginia
  • Kentucky
  • Missouri
  • Arkansas
  • Alabama
  • Georgia
  • Mississippi
As a central American state, visiting a beach can be a travel and it may be worth taking a holiday to visit a beach. If this is the case, the closest beach may not play a part in which beach is best to go to.

  • American Travel
There are now very cheap internal flights and these can sometimes work out less expensive than driving what will be over 400 miles to get to your destination. You may wish to look into the best beaches rather than the closest to find a beach to visit.

  • Florida
People travel from all over the globe to visit Florida and its beaches are a large part of its appeal. If you are looking to visit Florida for a beach vacation, you may want to visit a few beaches in the state as there are so many that are praised for being truly beautiful. There is such a variety of beach in Florida that finding one that is quiet enough or busy enough for you should be easy and there are many places that offer watersport activities, something that you are not likely to do in Tennessee at all.

Mississippi and Alabama are due south And it is more than likely Alabama, for I 65 goes to the coast.

No I'm wrong it would be around Apalachicola, Florida

I'd go to Daytona Beach for there is none like it in the world!
