There are several cruise lines which let kids cruise for free; these include MSC Cruises, Disney, Costa Cruises, Regent Seven Seas Cruises, P&O and Norwegian Cruise Line.
MSC Cruises allows kids under the age of 18 to stay for free on any ship when sharing a cabin with two full-paying adults any time of the year.
MSC Cruises was originally known as Lauro Lines and is a part of Mediterranean Shipping Company S.A. The company started doing cruises in the 1960’s where both of their ships the Angelino Lauro and MS Achille both caught fire and burnt down. The Angelino Lauro burnt down in 1979, leaving the cruise line operating just one ship; the Achille Lauro which in 1985, was hijacked by members of the Palestine Liberation Front, this was a very well-known event which led to a declining number in passengers and in 1994 the ship caught fire and sunk. The company changed name to MSC Cruises in 1995.
Most cruise lines however, offer deals where kids can stay for free for a limited period of time during the year. An example of this kind of deal would be Disney Cruise Line, who let kids go free on Disney Wonder cruises departing between January 22nd and May 28th.
Disney Cruise Line was created in 1995 and is owned and operated by Walt Disney parks and resorts.
Disney cruise Line currently have three ships in operation; Disney Magic, the Disney Wonder and the Disney Dream, with a fourth ship, the Disney Fantasy due to begin sailing in 2012.
