Hawaii is an awesome place with lots of great places to vacation. There are 6 islands to choose from, but after travelling to Hawaii many times over a number of years, I now usually choose between Oahu and Maui.
Oahu is urban and populated so there are so many things to do there. It offers a good level of diversity in terms of food options, nightlife and accommodation. The first few times I visited, I stayed in hotels, but someone suggested that I stay in timeshare rentals in Hawaii. I tried this out and I loved it, so now I do that every time I visit Oahu. It has over 50 great beaches and some beautiful botanical gardens, so you can still appreciate the nature.
Maui has a more tropical island feel. It’s got great beaches and is popular with locals. I love the outdoors, so I like to visit Maui once in a while as it has a few stunning national parks for hikes and outdoor activities.
