Hi. I would like to visit Hawaii. Which island is better for calm rest?

I've never been to Hawaii but I'm pretty sure no matter what island you land on you're  going to get "Lei'd"  and handed a drink with an umbrella in it as soon as you hit your resort ... It all sounds calm and relaxing to me :)now I wanna go to Hawaii :/

If you go and can do so, go in October. It is their slowest month for tourism, which means two things. You can get a better rate, but also there are fewer people and everything is less crowded. I went to Maui. We chose that Island because it was less crowded and has a slower rate. If you enjoy being outdoors, it is a great island. There are beaches, snorkeling, hiking and driving the Hana Highway. It is not a "hurry up and get there" place. The average speed limit is 35 mph.

I've been to the main island many years ago and it was nice but I just wouldn't go around the first of December ! Just in case ! LOL
