Barbados is basically a country that is located in the western part of the Atlantic Ocean. It is not part of the United States of America. It is neighbored by Saint Vincent and Grenadines, Saint Lucia, Trinidad and Tobago and th South American Mainland.
The Capital of Barbados is Bridgetown. It is under the British rule and can be called as a British Colony where Elizabeth II is the ruling monarch and Governor General Clifford Husbands is her representative there. The area of this country is 431 square kilometers and the population is 279,000.
