I Have Heard That Mauritius Nationals Do Not Need A Visa When They Visit The EU Countries. This Rumour Has Been Going Since A Long Time Awaiting Negotiations From The EU And Mauritius. Please Can You Advise?

Mauritian national is in no need to present a visa before entering any schengen state. Any mauritian national can enter schengen space for 90 days without applying for a visa prior to departure.
As long as you can show you have a health insurance, return flight, an address or hotel etc etc but most of the time, these are not even asked by border police.

Mauritian nationals need a visa everywhere in the EU except Rep. Of Ireland and UK .

Its a fact,not a rumour!
But mauritius government bodies havent signed the treaty yet.
Reason: Unknown!
Ridiculous,isn't it?
