When I went to Orlando in Florida last August with my mates for my summer holidays, we flew from Gatwick and it took us approximately 9 and a half hours to get to Orlando!! If you fly at night, the time seems to go quicker though than if you are flying in the day.
If you are going to go to Florida, it is amazing - I've been three times in the two years! It is so much fun for people of all ages. BTW if you do go, make sure you check out Universal Studios and Sea World. Also, take the 2 hour drive to Tampa Bay to check out Busch Gardens theme park! You won't regret it!
Hope you have a great holiday - maybe see you there in August! LOL!

The distance between London Gatwick airport, England and Orlando International Airport, is 4367 Miles and 6987 Kilometers. The flying time from Gatwick to Orlando depends on the kind of aircraft you are flying by, it takes 7 hours and 41 minutes by Boeing 747 and Airbus A340, 8 hours and 13 minutes by a Business jet, 30 hours and 39 minutes by Cessna SkyHawk and 33 hours and 45 minutes by BELL 206L-4. You can easily find out the distance and flying time between any two cities or countries of the world by using the following website:

All you have to do is type in the airport codes (which can be searched on the same site) of the departure and Arrival locations and it will give you the distance and flying time in a matter of seconds. Enjoy!:)
