You can in the US, I don't know about international, but I would assume the rules aren't more rigid.  See www.tsa.gov

You can too!  Lots of people don't check their bags and why would you pay 20 bucks to do it. Who needs a huge bag unless they are actually moving somewhere?

I was under the impression you can but it needs to be in your luggage and not on your carry on.  My father flew out of state for a work related /Off_Road_Driving_Lesson_at_Biltmore_Estate.html%20">off road driving experience and he took his razor with him.  They didn't say anything to him about it.

You can if you check it in.

Probably not. But call the airline that you are flying with. And even if they tell you that you can take it, that is no guarantee that you can. The regs seem to change every time I fly. I used to never check luggage. Now I check almost everything so I won't have to hassle with what I can and can't take in carry on luggage.

As long as you check it in your luggage, you can.  you cannot carry it onto the plane with you, but why would you need to shave on the plane, anyway?

unfortunately, with many airlines now charging to check luggage, it may make more sense to just head to a store when you get to your destination and buy a new disposable razor.

=( I just bought a new 10 pack of razors and I didn't know that I was going to have to jump on a plane the next day. Money is tight so I'm kinda annoyed. I only have one small bag so no need to check it in.

No and why would you. They consider it a weapon. Trust me. They took mine away and I had to get it after the plane ride. I felt like a two year old.
