There are several international standards that all major airlines adhere to when hiring and training flight attendants. You must be over 18 years of age, you must have a working knowledge of at least one major foreign language in addition to your mother tongue, no criminal record, a basic high school diploma and your height and weight must be reasonably well proportioned. I recommend that you also take an approved cabin crew training course and put this qualification on your resume, as it will help your application stand out from the rest.
