The Tower of Pisa was leaning all the time during those past years, so it became into the international central issue. In order to fix it, an international engineer team began a project, which cost about twenty-five-million dollars. First, engineers placed eight-hundred-seventy metric tons of lead weights on the north side of the tower, and workers tied strong steel cables around the structure and these wires were connected to large weights in the area. Next, engineers slowly removed tons of soil from under the tower. Through their hard working, the Pisa Tower now is more and more steady.
