Enrich' is Malaysia Airlines' loyalty scheme that is designed to reward frequent fliers. The scheme was launched in 1999 after a joint frequent flyer program (called 'Passages') between Malaysia Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Thai Airways International and Singapore Airlines was dissolved.

From July 2006, onwards the scheme has been known as 'Enrich by Malaysia Airlines'. There are over one million members of the scheme, 60% of which are from Malaysia. In 2005, Enrich members earned a total of 2.5 billion air miles.

There are four levels of Enrich membership:

• Blue
• Silver - requiring 25,000 miles per year
• Gold - requiring 50,000 miles per year
• Platinum - requiring 100,000 miles per year

Each tier of membership offers various privileges including priority check-in, priority standby and additional baggage allowance.

Enrich members can also accrue miles on certain partner airlines, including Air France, Alitalia, Delta Air Lines, KLM, Qantas and Virgin Atlantic.

Enrich miles can also be gained by using one of Malaysia Airlines' partner hotels (including Pacific International Hotels and Hotel Equatorial), credit card partners (including Alliance Bank and American Express) or other partners (such as Avis or Hertz car rental services).

Full details, including a frequently asked questions section, about the Enrich scheme can be seen on the Malaysia Airlines website at www.malaysiaairlines.com/in/en/enrich.html
