From the nearest bit of Iceland to one of the Tiny Scottish islets, you're looking at about 492 miles. From the Orkneys to the nearest bit of Iceland, 497 miles. From the outer Hebrides, it's 517 miles to the nearest bit of Iceland. From the Scottish mainland, it's 510 miles.

From Glasgow to Reykjavik, it's 828 miles.

All those distances have error margins of about 2 miles.
