Of all the islands I got to visit years ago, I really loved Roi-Namur the best. So much history also. So much
to see and do there.West Virginia....mountains, lakes, rivers....beautiful state.
Boy that is tough. I have been to many places, Germany, the Bahamas, Mexico, Belize, Honduras, and many places in the US. They all have their own beauty. I am going to say Alaska, though. There was something almost magical about its beauty.
On the Isle of Skye in Scotland, I hiked over a hill after watching sheep being dipped, I noticed a hawk and followed it past a man with three border collies. One of the dogs was a parent and the other two were being trained. The man moved one finger and they dropped to the ground and crawled two feet and stopped. I watched for a bit and carried on over another hill.
I saw a stone circle at the crease of the next hill.. Beside it was a burial mound. Undisturbed. I could hear the ocean from where I stood.
I went around and examined each stone in the stone circle.. The sky was a cloudless blue and everything g was beautiful everywhere I looked.
The Grand Canyon. Not the canyon itself, but the hiking path. The hole is nice, but it would be boring just watching that as I go down. I loved all the trees sticking up, and the small shrubs, and there was some kind of woodpecker I couldn't see all of, and squirrels that would sit near you, and ravens flying around.
Egypt
Well, I am fond of beaches and nature. I have visited Montgomery and which has one of the amazing attractions In Alabama. Beautiful sunrise and white sand grab your attention. I am planning to visit it again.
Talking about the beautiful places in the world, there are some in Europe like : Holland, Austria, France etc. And in US as well. But it's been for a long time that I have not been to Asia, so I don't know yet about it.
