The existence of gangs in America has been growing gradually along with gang-related violence and gang drug trafficking. The police in America have been making arrest on regular basis to avoid the expansion of these gangs.

Because of the growing number of conflicts and the increasing amount of new gangs being formed, buying and selling of weapons is under strict scrutiny. The two most well known gangs of America are the Crips and the Bloods. The Crips, originating from in Los Angeles, California, is believed to be the oldest, largest and the most infamous gang in the United States. They are recognized for the blue colour which they wear. They have extreme rivalry with Bloods. The Bloods is also another Los Angeles, California based gang and are identified by the red colour worn by their associates.

America hasn't done much. Poverty is one example of why we have gangs. Kids having kids. Children not growing up with an education due to single parent mothers or drug addict parents who don't give a D***. Maybe if we had more youth centers or funding for sports for the kids. Kids needs to feel involved in something. It could be family which is *gang*, sports, youth center, dance crew...anything that makes them feel wanted and not neglected. There are so many more crews then just bloods and crips..lol how can someone who isn't from the streets act like they know whats being done for our society.

I think there needs to be more places for young kids to go, like youth centres.
