NO you don't need a visa..

I am from Trinidad and Tobago and have been living here for about 4 years now.

ON arrival they will ask you the usual questions like where and how long you will be staying.. They will then stamp your passport on arrival with a stamp saying how long you are allowed to stay for...

YES! Ireland is a part of the EU, therefore you need a Schengen visa just like you would to enter any other European country that is a member state.
