You will have to get in touch with the u.s.c.I.s. Or get online www,uscisgov.com. And try to have as much information as possible ,concerning the year that the permanent residency was granted ,your case number,and whoever filed for you. Try and get as much information on the case then log on

They are stamped on your passport when you came in the US and it tells you there when it expires and if it's EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZED.

What do you mean they are stamped on your passport? The numbers are in the passport?

I have the same problem and the only way to get it is to get a replacement card for about $129. At ins direct website  if I find another way I will post it

If you have lost your “Green Card” and seek to replace it then it is appropriate to file Form I-90.You should be sure to take a look at any other immigration related
documentation to see if you can find the number. For example, the number will appear on any Form I-797 Notice of Action you received while your Green Card application was pending or after it was approved.
