Beijing is the capital of China. It's a very dinamic city with lots construction sites. Since 2008 Beijing Olympic is near, the city is getting cleaner than before it will be visited by millions visitors from all over the world.
Since Beijing is a very big city, its hard to say how is the life like in simple words. All I can say, its really huge and lots of people there. There are 4 seasons in Beijing, summer is about 38 degrees and winter would be -5 degree. AND, air pollution can be serious in certain month, like Feburary and March.
Living expense can be very high if you live in the center of Beijing, but food is deliciou and cheap.
