Actually if you are a spouse of a UK citizen, you must apply for a citizenship in UK. This will offer you a wide variety of benefits and you would be able to work and go anywhere you please. It would also make you eligible for unemployment benefits. However, if you want to go their temporarily apply for a visit visa, but then you wont be able to work there. Well... You would need to go to Uk and live there for 3 years called the residing period. You are allowed a limited number of holidays in a year and after the end of 3 yrs , you can then apply for british citizenship. Go to the website www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk
