How To Get A Thai Passport?

How can I obtain a Thai passport. I am a European man, living in Thailand for over 17 years, married to a Thai wife and together we have a child. All legally married and an official registered child who has a Thai passport as well. I have my own business here.

I have a Thai passport which will expire in 2011. I am already divorced with my ex- Thai husband and got married to a US citizen last year. Now, I have residence card in my new family name. How can I apply for a new Thai passport with my new name?  I am now in Texas. Can I apply for a new passport at the Thai Consulate office in Dallas or in Houston?
