Hello guys, I want to share my experience in applying Turkish Visa. Here it goes:I read all your comments, I want to share mine also. I got married to a Turkish man last September 29, 2010. Now, my baby is still here in Philippines with me waiting for my visa. We accomplished all the documents last November 15, 2010. The consulate had said to wait for 4-6 weeks but now its January 14, 2011 coming to 9 weeks already.Allah helps us, I hope they will call soon. Anyway, from very beginning, I will state how we do it. Also searching in internet is the best solution. We are planning already to get married here 'coz we knew that its impossible to approve visa if you are not married here, its the easiest I think. Before he came to Philippines, he already processed his Certificate of no marriage in Turkey, his Turkish National ID stating that he is single, authenticated birth certificate. He just applied Passport, its 21 days free stay in philippines and will just have extension in Bureau of Immigraton 1 week before it expires. Like in month, 2000+. When he came here, last September 10, 2010. He just stayed in our house. Before that I had visited the City Civil Registrar;s Office for the requirements in Civil marriage. One thing that needs is his Certificate of No marriage issued by Turkish embassy in Manila. So, when he came we planned directly to go to Manila for the certificate. Requirements to bring, of course all his documents that he processed in turkey as I mentioned earlier, your NSO birth certificate, NSO Cenomar and the last important thing is the RED RIBBON of your CENOMAR issued by DFA manila. I was just lucky, coz with help of Allah, without the Red Ribbon from DFA of my Cenomar, they wont issue his certificate of no marriage coz they want to assure that I'm really single. So we luckily have the certificate and went back to davao in evening of same day. From that, on the next day we went to Civil registrar and filed our application for marriage. After that from date of our marriage, we got our form and NSO marriage certificate in 15 days only

Usually, they say we can get NSO marriage certificate withing 4 to 6 months but since I knew someone and paid him in Civil registrar so it became like that. After that, we send the Photocopy of the Form of Marriage and the NSO certificate for Red Ribbon, we send it through DHL, we paid 400+ only. After 5 days it came. We called Turkish embassy and said that He can go alone to give the Red ribbon form DFA manila for our Marriage proof. So he travel alone to Manila, I was nervous that time coz he will travel again alone but he is brave. Same feeling I had when I waited in Davao Airport in evening on the same day.The consulate send the documents to Turkey and said that we will wait for the changing of his National ID...remember I had told he has National ID written that he is single, he will get another written MARRIED on it. So the one who made follow -up was his mother, maybe after 10 days from sending the documents to turkey. Later her mother get it and scanned and send to us. We print, later called to embassy that we got already the ID. He said, I can go alone to apply for visa. He said to bring one picture, a letter written by him stating that I am married by him and a form that was instructed for him to download and fill up. So I went to manila and applied for my visa. I get the Visa application form there and fill up. He said that for 2,700+ its good for 90 days only in turkey.Luckily I met a Filipina also applying there, we had a talk. They already have a son and her husband is waiting for them in turkey. She is Visayan also. So after I submit he said to wait for 4-6 weeks. As what I have said earlier, its been 9 weeks now and no call yet. Please take note also, I already have passport but it was my surname written when I was single, the Turkish embassy said its Ok, it doesn't matter as long as it is not expired, but I advised you to have a passport with your new married surname reflects on it so that you will have no problem. It is said that you will have a seminar in CFO to get certificate and present it in DFA here in davao for your passport with your NSO Marrigae certficate and Marriage contract to process your passport with your husband's surname on it. Just ask to your nearest passport things for details. If you had your Turkish visa already, you should go to CFO and make photocopy of your passport and certificate of CFO and they will stamp your VISA. It is very important coz you can't leave Philippines without having all of that. They will look for that, I assure you...Hope you learn things through my comment. This is true, not a joke, we agreed with my husband to post here so that those who are like me will have an idea what they will do....Allah bless us all...also we will have our baby, I'm pregnant!

Hello all.....I'm filipina, been staying here in canada since 2004, have met and married my  turkish husband in toronto on 2006, we've been disappointed  many times by the canadian embassy (3x to be exact) when we applied my filipino parents for TRV tourist visa to come here. We became hopeless... Then today ( january 25,2011) my hubby was reading his turkish news site online and found out that recently, the Turkish government had remove the visa requirement for any filipinos who would want to go to turkey. I say it a very good news for us, if I can't get them to come here in canada and see there 2 apos/GRANDCHILDREN, myt as well send them to turkey and we'll all have a big reunion for both SIDES grandparents.
So, there you go....FILIPINOS don't NEED TURKISH  VISA TO ENTER TURKEY, BUT YOU DO NEED TO HAVE A PROPER TRAVELING DOCUMENT......PASSPORT ;)) ENJOY your TRIP. INSALLAH.

No you don't require proper visa to enter Turkey. Ordinary passport holders can obtain three month multiple visas at the Turkish border gates.
Good luck
